1. 产品定义 · What You're Getting

食卷兽 Papereater 是一款 Chrome 浏览器扩展程序，通过 Google Gemini AI 将网页、PDF 及学术论文截图翻译或改写为中文，结果输出于浏览器侧边栏。本产品为独立开发者产品，按现状（as-is）提供。

Papereater is a Chrome extension that uses Google Gemini AI to translate or rephrase web pages, PDFs, and academic paper screenshots into Chinese, displayed in a browser side panel. It is an independent developer product provided as-is.

两种使用方式 · Two Usage Modes

账号模式：使用 Google 账号登录，系统为翻译次数计费。新用户注册后获赠 20 次免费翻译额度；用完后可购买次数包继续使用。
Account mode: sign in with Google; new users receive 20 free translation credits; additional credits can be purchased.
BYOK 模式（Bring Your Own Key）：在扩展内填入您自己的 Google Gemini API Key，可无限制免费翻译，费用由您的 Gemini 账户直接承担，与本产品计费体系无关。
BYOK mode: enter your own Gemini API Key; unlimited free translations; API costs are billed directly to your Google account.

2. 计费与次数包 · Credits & Pricing

免费试用 · 20 次 · 注册即送

次数包 · €1.49 · 200 次

新用户通过 Google 登录后自动获得 20 次免费翻译额度，无需付款
额度用尽后，可按需购买次数包：当前售价 €1.49 / 200 次，一次性购买，非订阅
已购次数长期有效；对于连续 24 个月以上未使用的账户，我们保留在提前邮件通知后进行处理的权利，届时未消耗的次数按当时政策处理
每次翻译消耗 1 次额度（无论截图大小或翻译长度）

次数包售价以购买时扩展内及 Polar 结账页面实际显示价格为准，条款内所列价格仅供参考；开发者保留调整定价的权利，已购买的次数不受影响。
Credit pack prices are subject to change; the price shown at checkout (in the extension or on the Polar payment page) is the binding price. Prices listed in these terms are for reference only. The developer reserves the right to adjust pricing; previously purchased credits are not affected.

支付与税务 · Payment & Tax

所有付款通过 Polar 处理。Polar 作为本产品的 Merchant of Record（记录商户），代为处理支付授权、开具发票及税务合规（含欧盟增值税 VAT）。您在结账时看到的价格已含适用税费。实际销售方为食卷兽独立开发者本人，Polar 为其代理支付与税务事宜。

All payments are processed by Polar, acting as the Merchant of Record. Polar handles payment processing, invoicing, and tax compliance (including EU VAT). Prices shown at checkout are inclusive of applicable taxes. The actual seller is the individual developer behind Papereater; Polar handles payment and tax on their behalf.

3. 退款政策 · Refund Policy

未使用次数包：购买后 14 天内可申请全额退款。 已开始消耗（已使用 1 次或以上）的次数包，视为数字内容已交付并开始使用，原则上不再支持退款。

Unused credit packs: full refund available within 14 days of purchase. Once credits have been partially used (1 or more translations consumed), the digital content is considered delivered and in use — refunds are generally not available for consumed credits.

退款申请方式 · How to Request a Refund

发送邮件至 zhenyu.yuan123@gmail.com，注明您的账号邮箱及购买日期，我们将在 48 小时内处理并通过 Polar 退款。

Email zhenyu.yuan123@gmail.com with your account email and purchase date; we will process your refund via Polar within 48 hours.

特殊情形 · Exceptions

因产品严重技术故障导致次数被错误扣除的，全额退款或补发等量次数
超过 14 天或已大量使用的次数包，酌情处理，不作保证
欧盟消费者依法享有的撤单权（right of withdrawal）：根据欧盟消费者权利指令，数字内容一经开始交付且购买时您已同意立即交付并放弃撤单权，则不适用 14 天无条件撤单权；对于尚未开始使用的次数包，我们自愿提供 14 天退款保障以超出法定要求

EU consumers: under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that has begun delivery with your consent at the time of purchase. For unused packs, we voluntarily offer a 14-day refund as a goodwill measure beyond the legal minimum.

4. API Key 与第三方服务责任 · API & Third-Party Responsibility

BYOK 模式下，食卷兽为您与 Google Gemini API 之间的调用提供工具层。您需自行：

申请并妥善保管您的 Gemini API Key，避免泄露
了解并遵守 Google Gemini API 的使用条款和速率限制
自行承担 API 调用产生的额度消耗与费用

账号模式下，翻译通过本产品的后端服务调用 Gemini，次数由本产品计费体系管理。无论何种模式，对于以下情况，食卷兽及开发者不承担任何责任：

Google Gemini 等 API 服务商的速率限制、服务中断或政策变更导致功能不可用
AI 翻译结果的准确性、完整性或适用性
因依赖翻译结果而产生的任何损失

Papereater is not responsible for API rate limits, service outages, or policy changes by Google Gemini or other third-party providers, nor for the accuracy or fitness of AI translation output.

5. 可接受使用 · Acceptable Use

您同意不将本产品用于：

任何违反 Google Gemini API 使用条款的场景
自动化批量抓取、采集受版权保护内容
任何违反您所在地区法律法规的用途
对本扩展程序进行逆向工程、二次销售或未经授权的再分发
共享账号或将已购次数转让给未经授权的第三方

违反上述条款可能导致账号暂停或终止，已消耗次数不予退还。
Violations may result in account suspension or termination; consumed credits will not be refunded.

6. 免责声明 · Disclaimer of Warranties

本产品按「现状」提供，不附带任何明示或暗示的保证，包括但不限于适销性、特定用途适用性或不侵权的保证。开发者不保证产品持续可用、无错误，亦不保证翻译结果的准确性或完整性。

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

7. 条款变更 · Changes to Terms

我们保留随时修订本条款的权利。重大变更（如定价调整、退款政策变更）将通过扩展更新日志或邮件提前告知。继续使用产品即表示您接受最新条款。

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes (e.g., pricing or refund policy) will be communicated via extension update notes or email in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
