1. 数据存储 · Data Storage

自定义 API Key 模式 · BYOK Mode

如您使用自己的 Gemini API Key（BYOK 模式），食卷兽采用纯本地架构。您输入的 API Key、翻译结果、截图内容，全部存储于您浏览器的本地沙盒 chrome.storage.local 中，受 Chrome 扩展程序的安全隔离保护，我们无法访问。

If you use your own Gemini API Key (BYOK mode), Papereater uses a fully local architecture. Your API Key, translated content, and any screenshots are stored exclusively in your browser's local sandbox chrome.storage.local, protected by Chrome's extension security isolation — inaccessible to us.

账号翻译次数模式 · Account Mode

如您选择登录账号使用翻译次数，以下数据会存储于我们的安全后端服务（Supabase）：

您的邮箱地址和账号唯一标识（用于身份认证和次数管理）
翻译次数余额
匿名使用量记录（token 用量、翻译模式、时间戳，不含翻译的具体内容）

翻译历史（您在"藏书阁"里看到的记录）仅保存在您本地浏览器的 chrome.storage.local 中，不会上传至服务器。

Translation history (visible in your local "Vault") is stored only in your browser's chrome.storage.local and is never uploaded to our servers.

2. 账号与登录 · Account & Login

本扩展支持通过 Google 账号登录（OAuth 2.0）。登录时，我们会从 Google 获取并存储：

您的 Google 邮箱地址 · Your Google email address
您的 Google 账号唯一标识（User ID）· Your Google account unique identifier

以上信息仅用于识别您的账号、管理翻译次数额度。我们不会获取您的 Google 密码，亦不会访问您 Google 账户中的其他任何数据（日历、文档、联系人、Drive 等）。

This information is used only to identify your account and manage your translation credit balance. We do not access your Google password, nor any other Google account data (Calendar, Drive, Contacts, etc.).

3. 翻译数据处理 · Translation Data Processing

当您发起翻译时，当前页面的截图（或您框选的区域）会被发送至 Google Gemini API 进行翻译处理。关于这些图像数据：

图像仅用于即时翻译，处理完成后不由我们留存 · Images are used for immediate translation only and are not retained by us
我们不会长期存储您翻译的截图、原文或译文内容 · We do not store your screenshots, source text, or translated content
翻译历史仅保存在您本地浏览器中（见第 1 条）· Translation history is saved only in your local browser (see Section 1)

图像数据在传输过程中通过 HTTPS 加密。Google Gemini API 对数据的处理方式请参阅 Google 的隐私政策。

Image data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. For how Google Gemini API handles your data, please refer to Google's privacy policy.

4. 付款信息 · Payment Information

购买翻译次数时，付款通过第三方支付服务商 Polar（作为 Merchant of Record）处理。整个支付流程在 Polar 的安全页面上完成。

您的支付卡信息、账单地址等敏感支付数据由 Polar 直接处理 · Your payment card details are processed directly by Polar
本扩展不接触、不存储您的任何信用卡或支付信息 · This extension does not access or store any of your payment card information
付款成功后，Polar 会通知我们的系统为您的账号增加对应次数 · Upon successful payment, Polar notifies our system to credit your account

5. 使用量统计 · Usage Analytics

为了运营和改进服务，我们会在后端记录每次翻译的匿名使用量数据，包括：

本次翻译消耗的 token 数量 · Token count for each translation
翻译模式（精准 / 白话文）· Translation mode (Precise / Plain-language)
时间戳 · Timestamp

以上记录不包含您翻译的具体内容、不包含截图或译文文本、不包含任何可识别您浏览行为的信息。这些统计数据仅用于了解服务用量、优化模型调用成本。

These records do not include the content you translated, any screenshots, translated text, or any information that could identify your browsing behavior. They are used solely to understand service usage and optimize costs.

6. 我们不收集什么 · What We Do Not Collect

无论使用何种模式，我们绝不收集、存储、分析、出售或共享以下信息：

您翻译的任何文本、截图或文档内容 · Any text, screenshots, or documents you translate
您的浏览历史或打开的网页 · Your browsing history or open pages
您的设备信息、地理位置 · Your device info or geolocation
您的支付卡或银行账户信息 · Your payment card or banking information
您的 Gemini API Key（BYOK 模式，仅存于本地）· Your Gemini API Key (BYOK mode, stored locally only)

关于 IP 地址：当您使用账号功能或完成支付时，您的请求会经过我们的后端服务商（Supabase）和支付服务商（Polar）的服务器，这些服务商的服务器日志中可能会记录您的 IP 地址——此为 HTTP 通信的固有属性。我们自身不会主动收集、存储或分析用户 IP 地址用于追踪目的。

Regarding IP addresses: when you use account features or make a payment, your requests pass through servers operated by our backend provider (Supabase) and payment provider (Polar), whose server logs may record your IP address — an inherent property of HTTP communication. We do not actively collect, store, or analyze IP addresses for tracking purposes.

7. 第三方服务 · Third-Party Services

本扩展涉及以下第三方服务，各方依据其自身隐私政策处理相关数据：

8. Cookie & 分析 · Cookies & Analytics

本落地页（papereater 官网）不使用任何 Cookie、不集成任何分析工具（无 Google Analytics、无 Hotjar、无任何像素追踪）。

扩展程序本身不使用用于追踪的 Cookie 或分析像素。但如果您登录了账号，扩展会在本地 chrome.storage 中存储用于保持登录状态的会话凭据（session token），使您无需每次重新登录。这些凭据存于浏览器本地，不是传统意义上的网页 Cookie，亦不用于任何追踪目的。

The extension does not use tracking cookies or analytics pixels. However, if you are signed in, the extension stores session credentials (a session token) in local chrome.storage to keep you logged in between sessions. This is stored locally in your browser — it is not a traditional web cookie and is not used for any tracking purpose.

本产品面向 16 周岁及以上用户。我们不主动收集未成年人信息。若发现误收，请联系我们立即删除。
